This is a story about cost-reductions in Nvidia’s upcoming products… I did not refer to ATI.

ATI did its change in PCB and other elements back in time between Radeon 2900 and 3800. This story is about Nvidia doing the same thing, albeit 18 months later.

Why would production of 40 nm Nvidia cost less than 40 nm ATI giving that ATI had embarked on the cost reduction path way before Nvidia with the stated goals of producing less complex and costly design?

What’s even more funny is the fact that Ferrari is sponsored by AMD, while Ferrari itself functions mostly similar to Nvidia, not AMD ;)
