YouTube, more commonly known as an 800-pound gorilla of online video space just started to test a new feature that will allow users to click on six new buttons (LOL, OMG, EPIC, CUTE, WTF, FAIL) under the video and share their reaction.
As you can imagine, this feature is more oriented towards the fun video section of the site, even though you can’t exactly exclude serious broadcast-grade videos having a "fail" moment. We expect to see a whole lot of "fail", "epic" and "wtf" on popular commercial videos such as Apple or Budweiser commercials. And don’t get us started on popular teen stars just such as the Beave… Bieber. Can someone say is it Friday yet (See it here)?
Is this feature just for dose who feel geek enough or for making stupid comments/expressions without posting them? We’ll have to wait and see, at least till most of the users get this new buttons. If you want to know how you can make your mark in orange, check this video:
