Few minutes ago, we received a link to a Google Cache page from an Israeli source which was flabbergasted at the contents of the page. It looks like SiSoft, makers of popular SiSoft Sandra 2011 benchmark jumped the gun and published a web page which contained test results of AMD’s entry level 8-core FX-8100 processor based on the Zambezi core, comparing it to a much more expensive Intel Core i7 processor.
SiSoft tested the B2 version (shipping revision) of Zambezi, an FX-8100 CPU that will tick at 2.8GHz stock, with the Turbo Mode 2.0 taking it all the way to 3.8GHz. Bear in mind that AMD can clock more than two cores at 3.8GHz.
