After launching the E-ATX compatible Core V71 chassis earlier this year and the ITX form factored Core V1, Thermaltake is launching a mid-tower variant in the series, called the Core V51. The Core V51 carries on a similar design as its larger sibling, and retains the metal mesh look.

Aimed at the enthusiast segment, the Core V51 can fit in E-ATX motherboards, as well as standard ATX and micro ATX boards. Thermaltake is making a name for itself by offering a host of cooling options in its enthusiast cases, and the Core V52 is no different, with users getting the option of installing three 120 mm fans, or two 140 mm fans, or a single 200 mm fan at the front. Up top, you can install three 120 mm fans, two 140 mm fans or two 200 mm fans. At the back, you can fit in a 120 mm or a 140 mm fan, and there is provision to install two 120 mm fans. If you’re looking to go with a liquid cooled build, you can install radiators of the same size in lieu of the fans. Thermaltake is throwing in three fans as standard: two at the front, and one at the back.

The chassis comes with two drive cages, with one cage fitting in three 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives, and the other able to slot in two drives. The Core V51 is a modular case, and should you wish to do so, you can remove all drive bays to make room for extra-long video cards or a custom liquid cooled configuration. In such a scenario, you can house a 3.5-inch or a 2.5-inch drive behind the motherboard enclosure. You can also adjust the height of the drive cages if you don’t want to remove them entirely. At the front, the case has two USB 3.0 headers as well as the HD audio ports.

Thermaltake understands that you need to showcase your liquid cooled rig, and as such the Core V51 comes with a windowed side panel to show off your hardware. The chassis is set to be available later this month for $109.99.
