A batch of new House of Wolves leaks for Destiny‘s upcoming expansion have emerged, revealing new content and that the Reef might serve as a Tower-like social lobby for the upcoming expansion.

Check below for a closer look at what the Reef’s social hub will look like.

The House of Wolves leak show off Director navigation screens for the expansion’s new Reef-based “social space” within the heart of the Asteroid Belt, pretty much saying that the Reef will be the Guardians’ home away from home as they aid the Awoken Queen.

Planet Destiny notes that the Reef social space can accommodate up to 16 players simultaneously, and should feature merchants and the like similar to the Tower.

The Belly of the Beast level 28 Strike is highlighted, along with a level 30 Queen’s quest entitled Nightcrawler and two new Crucible matchsets: Inferno Rumble and Inferno Skirmish.

The Inferno modes have been spotted in the past, and it’s believed the new gametypes might roll out around March 3 – 10.

The images come from Japanese Reddit user megamanexe4, who has been responsible for leaking House of Wolves item sets in the past. It appears megamanexe4 has been able to access latent portions of the expansion thanks to its on-disc data via an exploit, but were’ not sure just how he did it.

The Japanese gamer’s information has proven to be quite accurate when his leaks  matched up with Destiny DB‘s massive data-mined lists, so it’s quite possible that this newly gleaned info is authentic.

Bungie has since released Destiny Patch 1.1.1 that brings a host of new changes and updates across the board, introducing a new faction reputation UI system along with some pretty substantial alterations to weapon efficiency.

House of Wolves is set to release in the Q2 2015 window, meaning it could launch as early as April and as late as June. Expect more leaks in that frame of time, as well as new highlights from Bungie along the way.

If you’re like me, then you’re already burnt out with Destiny.

There simply isn’t enough new content to keep me coming back for more. If you’ve already hit level 32 with three characters and grabbed your favorite Exotic weapons, what more is there to do?

Maybe diddle around with the dailies, tackle Nightfall to rack up your Strange Coins in the hopes that Xur is selling something good? Destroy some Guardians in PvP with your newly found handcannon?

At this point the game has become rote and stale, and sooner or later its novelty will wear off. And it looks like Bungie isn’t going to give us any new content any time soon.

In a recent Weekly Update Bungie sets a tentative Q2 2015 timeline or Destiny‘s second House of Wolves DLC expansion.

That means you’ll have to wait as long as June for any new content. Ouch.

“Since we’ve started throwing around soft deadlines for game updates, we might as well set your expectations that Destiny Expansion II: The House of Wolves will be released sometime in the second quarter of this year.

“If you’re not used to people saying things like “Q2” when they’re measuring time, just rip your annual calendar into four equal parts and scrutinize the second piece.

“Sometime within those three months (April, May, and June), we’ll have a new adventure to embark upon with you.”

This timeline is starkly different from the recent House of Wolves leaks that projected a release next month in March.

Even still the leaks saw a ton of in-game items revealed including new Exotics, raid sets, vendor gear and even full storyline quests and raid info, raising hype and possibly spoiling the new expansion in the process.

The most recent leak gave credence to past revelations, furthering the evidence of the gear being real with a whole new set of screenshots, and even pinpointed a “May 2015″ release for the expansion.

Now that we know Bungie has set a Q2 release for HoW, megamanexe4’s leaks seem to be right on the money.

At this point Bungie has had a hard time keeping the lid closed on House of Wolves, and considering the expansion’s data is actually inside all copies of the game, that’s to be expected.

The real problem is that there’s so little content in the game that players actively look to spoil the expansions just to have something new to talk about.

Even Destiny‘s entire longform DLC structure was leaked out, revealing the full timeline of expansions and more details about the series’ “Comets”.

Comets are sort of a combination of a “mega DLC” and a GOTY edition, and are presumed to come with the retail version of Destiny, the Comet expansion, as well as the two previous DLC’s (The Dark Below and House of Wolves in this case) priced at $59.99, essentially meaning you’ll have to buy the game again.

At this point Destiny seems like a big mess, and making gamers wait as long as June for a smidgen of new content is just bad form. Although Bungie has promised “not to make the same mistakes twice” with the new DLC, House of Wolves will likely be more of the same.

Gamers will beat it in a day, and once again Bungie will have to stretch out its content to create the illusion of substantiation–delaying hard mode for the raid, nerf glitches and cheesing strategies, etc.

And House of Wolves will likely continue Bungie’s terrible DLC paywall structure, a structure that segregates non-DLC players and locks them out of a portion of end-game content, will continue unheeded.

Thanks to recent leaks, Destiny‘s new House of Wolves expansion has been fully unearthed for all to see, revealing a complete list of gear, activities and additions that will be included in the game’s next DLC add-on.

The wealth of new info comes straight from the dedicated data-miners over at DestinyDB, Destiny Tracker, and Destiny Planet, a collective of sites who have been busy digging through the game’s embedded files.

This is made possible due to the fact that both of the expansions are included with every retail copy of the game–your purchases are simply unlocking access to the content, but the files themselves are there.

Thanks to the supremely patient efforts of one MattWGordon, who created this amazing chart that meticulously catalogs the data-mined treasures, Guardians all over the galaxy now have an early look at the goods included in House of Wolves.

These new leaked reports are right off the heels of yet another more substantial leak, which may have revealed Destiny‘s entire DLC structure altogether.

According to last week’s leaks, every Destiny game will be accompanied by two “expansions” (The Dark Below and House of Wolves for Destiny 1) and will be finished off with a massive content DLC called a “Comet“. Comets are like two expansions put together, featuring a slew of additional content and items, making it a sort-of mega expansion.

The leak saw the possible reveal of the game’s first Comet, which appears to be entitled Plague of Darkness, and features a wealth of additional updates and content.

In any case, the new leak details everything that House of Wolves has to offer, including new Raid armor sets (Wolf Walker for Titans, Archon for Warlocks, and Kell gear for Hunters) along with nine new Raid weapons–four of which are elemental primaries.

House of Wolves‘ new Raid is entitled “The Arena”, and players will return to The Reef to no-doubt have another audience with the Queen–this time it should end in bloodshed and chaos. On Normal difficulty the new Raid will sport level 32 enemies, and on Hard the baddies will be boosted up to level 35.

Below we have a quick breakdown of what Destiny‘s upcoming House of Wolves expansion will contain, according to the leak:

• 1 new Traitor’s Ketch Strike
• New Lvl. 28 Vanguard Dragon Strike Playlist
• “The Arena” Raid
• 4 new PVP Maps

• 3 full sets of new Raid armor (Wolf Walker, Kell and Archon)
• 9 new Raid guns
• 37 new Legendary Ships
• 13 new class-specific purchasable Legendary armor pieces
• 3 new banks: Ship Collection, Shader Collection, and Special Emblem Collection

This info falls right in line with the previous leaks regarding the expansion, and we may very well see more details emerge as data-miners wear down their pickaxes and hone their skills.
