HP (NYSE:HPQ) has announced that its latest mobile workstations — ZBook 14 G2 and 15u G2 — feature AMD’s (NASDAQ:AMD) FirePro graphics solutions. The machines may not be the lightest notebooks available, but they do offer creative professionals the ability to get work done on the go.

Both models are powered by a variety of AMD’s FirePro cards, ranging from the entry-level to the high-end. The 14 G2 can be configured with the FirePro M4150, and the 15u G2 can be had with FirePro M4170. Both cards are based on the GCN architecture. While the cards are created primarily to tackle intensive 3D utilities like Autodesk Maya and similar tools, they can also drive games at decent frame rates. For instance, the M4170 is similar to Nvidia’s GT750M when it comes to gaming prowess.

Other hardware on the productivity-focused 14 G2 and 15u G2 include 10-point touchscreens with full-HD resolutions, dual-core Intel Core i5-5200U CPUs, with Core i7 processors available to configure, SSDs as well as mechanical hard drives with storage sizes of up to 500GB and RAM configurations going from 4GB to 16GB. Also included is Wi-Fi ac connectivity, as well as four USB 3.0 ports and Bluetooth 4.0.

Prices for the ZBook 14 G2 start at $1,249, with the 15u G2 coming in at $1,199. Both models are available in the US.
